Day 34 - Park Hopping

This was our last day in Disneyland. They make it so cheap to do another day, so you can buy more stuff in the parks! We went back and forth between both parks this day.

For whatever reason, this Tuesday of Memorial Day weekend was by far the most crowded. We made the best of it!

Day 33 - California Adventure

We had a perfect, cheap hotel where we could walk back and forth from both Disney parks within 20 minutes!

California Adventure was really fun to visit, because even with some of the same rides, it felt completely different from Orlando. We got here nice and early before park opening to wait in line to get fastpasses for the Frozen musical that opened two days prior. It was the only way to see the show!

At night, we walked to the other park to go to a nice dinner at The Blue Bayou.

Day 32 - Disneyland

It's no secret that we are big Disney fans, so we had to check out the other "happiest place on earth." Second happiest place on earth?

We went to the park open to close and had a great time.

Day 31 - South Pasadena and L.A.

First, thank you to the Schneiderman family for inviting us into your lovely home!

We made it to the west coast! On this day, we hung out with our friends over in South Pasadena who were nice enough to show us around in a limited amount of time. We had a lovely lunch, saw the Father of the Bride house, did an expedited Hollywood tour, walked around the Venice canals/Venice beach, ate at the legendary In-N-Out Burger, and even watched some Netflix!

Day 30 - Phoenix

First, sorry we haven't posted in a while. This is the first time we've had a minute in a long time!

On this day, we went to Phoenix, mostly just to see the Arizona Diamondbacks game. We spent the morning and early afternoon in Sedona relaxing and blogging, and then we went to nearby Montezuma's Castle to check out the ancient Puebloan ruins. Fascinating! Then we drove down further into the hot dessert. If you haven't been, it really is hot in Phoenix, they're not lying.

The game was very fun and stadium was cool (literally - it had air conditioning!). The game was pretty lousy unfortunately, as the Diamondbacks were blown out by the Padres 10 - 3.

After the game, we drove halfway to L.A. and stayed at a cabin in an RV resort.
