Day 44 - Seattle

On this day, we drove through the yucky weather of Mt. Rainier to the (at times) yucky weather of Seattle. The main attraction here was Safeco Field to see the Seattle Mariners, but we had some time in the day to check out some other things.

Of course we had to see the Space Needle. We didn't have enough time or spare $$ to ride to the top, but we walked to its base!

We also happened to be in town for the Seattle Film Festival, so we saw a movie called Claire in Motion starring Betsy Brandt from Breaking Bad (no spoilers please). It was decent, but flat. One of the directors was there for a Q&A, which lasted like 3.5 minutes.

The Seattle Mariners were playing the Texas Rangers, and the home team won 7-5 in a great game. As a bonus, this happened to be a fireworks game! And this wasn't just any fireworks display, it was a sing-along! Yay...
