Day 52 - Sawtooth, Bayhorse, and Swan Valley

We spent the beginning of this day exploring the base of the Sawtooth Mountains a bit more, including Stanley Lake.

Then, we continued our journey on the road! This may have been the most beautiful drive of the whole trip, but that's really impossible to determine. It was something else.

Along our way, a sign for a ghost town caught our attention. This town was Bayhorse, an old mining town with rich history. We even got an impromptu tour from a nice ranger there!

We ended our day in Swan Valley, Idaho, which was not too far from Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming - our next destination!

  1. Oatmeal pancakes YUK, you would have done better eating, drinking and moteling at Amy Lou's. Idaho is lovely.
