Day 48 - Eightmile Lake and Leavenworth

The morning of this day was spent hiking back from Eightmile Lake, which was probably even better than the hike in! The morning was colder than the previous day, including some flurries, but the wind was much, much more tolerable. We could really take some time to appreciate the area.

We even met some friends!

We were supposed to do another hike that day, but truth be told, we were pretty pooped. Instead, we decided to stay at Abendblume again, because we just loved it so much. The room wasn't as extravagant as before, but it was still super comfy and well worth it. It was also great to spend some more time in this cute little town.

Good morning!
Better weather. We were completely alone. Serene
Selfie all bundled up
This is actually where our tent was before we had to move it!

  1. That MaBear was staring at you PaRap. What if it smelled the stew in your backpack? YIKES!
By the way, isn't that the town with the good beer? (just saying)
