Day 54 - Yellowstone National Park

On this day, we left our lodge in Dubois to go set up camp for a couple days in Yellowstone National Park.

Wow, what a beautiful and massive place! In fact, it is so big that despite its popularity, you barely notice the crowds. It's not like having an unreasonable amount of people crammed into Yosemite Valley.

We loved it here and are glad we were able to spend two and a half days here. We'd love to come back someday. There's still so much to explore.

On our first day here, we spent most of our time exploring various geyser basins in the southern section of the park, including Old Faithful of course.

We actually didn't see any animals this day! I feel like that's somehow more impressive than seeing wildlife in Yellowstone.

  1. Wowwie. I going to investigate those geyers and springs...never seen anything like it. On my bucket list. However, burger not cheese infused.
