We came to Chicago mostly to see the White Sox, but we also had fun walking around Millennial Park after the game.
The game was good, but we were a little disappointed with the experience as a whole. As many know, U.S. Cellular Field is in a lousy neighborhood in Chicago. Still, the public transportation to and from was easy enough. But when we got inside the stadium, we were informed that we weren't allowed to walk around the main concourse, because our seats were in the upper deck. We always get the cheap seats, and we never had this problem at any other stadium! It's their rule though, so we were SOL. That meant we couldn't even get food on the main concourse! Or go to their team store.
Oh well. The game itself was fun enough. The White Sox beat the Blue Jays 5 - 2 with their ace Chris Sale on the mound. He was definitely fun to see!
Millennial Park had a mariachi festival going on, so it was packed. But it was fun, and there were free samples!
In the evening we ate Chicago-style deep dish pizza. We do not recommend - not if you've had real pizza.

Found a place. But had to take the train back to the car because they were take-out only. Frustrating |

Chicago no access to the lower deck, against your civil rights! Where's the cheese on that pie?
