Day 13 - San Francisco

Today, we had a relaxing morning of blogging and movie editing. We haven't had much time to do either, so we took advantage of some down time. We got brunch at a tiny cafe on the way to John Muir National Historic Site. John Muir is known as the Father of the National Park Service. It was really interesting to learn more about him and see the ranch where he'd lived with his family.

Tonight's game was the San Francisco Giants vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals dominated this one, as they scored 11 runs on their way to an 11 - 2 victory. Luke Weaver pitched 5.1 no hit innings, and we were hoping to see a no hitter. Gorkys Hernandez spoiled that in the bottom of the 6th inning, two batters before a two run homer would give the Giants their only runs. We found it interesting that this game only lasted about two and a half hours despite the amount of runs scored. But hey, that's baseball!
