Well, you know the drill. One of us graduates from school, and then we both set off on a cross-country road trip to ball parks, national parks, and theme parks. It’s in our blood, I guess. And this time, we will accomplish a lifelong dream. With Minneapolis on the itinerary, we will have visited every team’s major league ballpark. Pretty cool, I’d say. Even when we set this goal in 2016, I did not think we would have it completed within eight years.
Since that time, we’ve obtained a lot. Two more degrees, full-time careers, a house, a theater, and marriage certificate. But we’re still just naive kids at heart. Satisfied with our achievements, we are giddy about what’s ahead!
The first day was a driving day. We didn’t set out until 6 pm due to the amount of tasks we had to complete at home. Such as packing… kind of important, right? Oh, and work! This was still a work day for us. But, we got everything we needed to get done, and we hit the road just before our favorite coffee chain closed up. Our first destination was Pittsburg, and we made it there sometime after 11. We hit the hay with sweet dreams of what lied ahead.
