Where do I begin? I woke up feeling so much better, so we hit the ground running with a jam-packed day ahead. To make up for lost time, we backtracked along the Banff-Windermere Highway to walk the Marble Canyon trail. Then, we drove into the town of Banff. We checked out the Fairmont Banff Springs, a massive, stone resort that sits on the Bow River. We had a tasty lunch there but definitely did not stay here! Afterwards, we walked the town's Main Street, perused some shops, and sipped lattes.

In the evening, we took the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. We hiked a bit from there to the highest summit. It brought spectacular views, to say the least. Indoors, they had an exhibit, film, gift shop, and food. We ate dinner up at the top, right by a window. Finally, we drove back to Canmore. Before heading to bed, we checked out a picturesque bridge and walked the Policeman's Creek Boardwalk. It was a great way to soak in the sunset and moonlight. Breathtaking!
